Socrates once encouraged a young friend to listen to the wisdom of an older man, "for," he said,
"Life is like a long journey on a road which we all must take.
Older people have travelled before us, and seen things that we have not yet seen ourselves.
If you listen and learn, you may add their experience to your own journey.
By this we may learn and become wiser."
Seniors have travelled a road and learned many Life Lessons that technology, gadgets, TV, and can never teach.
You folks have many precious lessons to share with the new generation who have not lived them yet.
I hope you all appreciate your own value and worth.
