Steve Hanks graduated 
from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland.
Early on, an allergic reaction to oil paint forced him 
to experiment with watercolors,
a medium which he has now famously mastered. 
He has won countless awards over twenty-five years 
and was entered into the U.S. Art Hall of Fame in 2000
He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
